RUUIPON develops custom silicone chocolate molds for bars, bonbons and branded shapes. Start with your finished dimensions, target weight, logo and preferred surface finish. We review the cavity geometry, filling method and tray requirements before confirming the design, prototype and production scope.
This page is the mold you pour tempered chocolate into. How the tool is built is the chocolate mold manufacturing guide. Gloss versus matte is master, cavity, and temper. Cavity count, after the bar is frozen, is cavity layout.
What We Price
A logo bar and a bonbon with a deep undercut are different tools. Send the finished piece.
- finished dimensions and target grams;
- chocolate type;
- logo: raised or recessed on the bar, and the narrowest stroke;
- cavity-count target and the tray size you can lift when it is full;
- how you fill: hand, spatula, or depositor pitch.
CAD volume is a start. Final grams come from a prototype filled with your chocolate. Custom/simple 3D is USD $50 when that scope applies. DFM review is free.
Logo After Demold
A deeper cut is not a clearer logo. A narrow trench traps chocolate, snaps a serif, and tears the cavity on the peel. Approve the mark on a real bar before the tray is repeated.
Vector artwork is enough to start. A PNG still needs the size in millimetres and which face of the bar carries the mark. Logo geometry is on custom logo silicone molds.
Papers and the Pour
Food-contact papers follow the compound, the chocolate, and the market. 21 CFR 177.2600 is extraction of the finished article, not an FDA-approved factory. The document list is on food-safe silicone molds.
A solid bar and a hollow shell are separate tools: chocolate bar molds and cocoa bomb molds.
What to Send
- bar or bonbon, with a photo or CAD;
- target grams;
- logo file, and whether it must stay sharp after demold;
- cavity count or tray limit;
- fill method;
- destination market.
Production is 20 mold pieces per design after you approve the prototype. Tooling price, lead time, and shipping are confirmed on that job.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you design from a target chocolate weight?
Target weight guides the initial cavity design. Confirm final piece weight using your chocolate and filling process at the prototype stage. If you need RUUIPON to perform a test casting, specify the material, acceptance points and test scope in the quotation.
Can you make a logo mold from vector artwork?
Yes. Depth is set against stroke width so the mark fills and peels.
Is this a polycarbonate or steel chocolate mold?
No. A custom bar at MOQ 20 is an RTV pour mold. A hard cavity for a high-volume line is a separate quote.
What is the MOQ?
20 pieces per design after the prototype. A second bar shape is a second MOQ.
