RUUIPON is a custom silicone mold manufacturer - we ship the tools your production line pours into. We are not a Mitour-style finished baby-product OEM with MOQ 300 goods, and we are not a trading company that forwards RFQs to three unknown workshops.

If you sell branded gummies, chocolate bars, resin coasters, candles, or soap, you need cavities that hold piece weight, release cleanly, and survive real cycles. That is the job. Soft marketing claims without Shore A numbers, draft, and cavity depth in mm do not survive the first sticky pectin demold.

Design rules that keep production alive

RapidDirect-style service pages win because they publish constraints. Here are ours for silicone RTV tooling:

  • Draft 1-3° on vertical walls when the design allows - soft silicone forgives mild undercuts; draft still extends life on every cavity.
  • Shrink ~0.1% platinum compensation on the master - inconsistent compensation across cavities shows up as weight drift.
  • Cavity depth in mm on the RFQ - 8 mm chocolate is not 28 mm resin; mixed depths on one family plate need an honest DFM call.
  • Cavity spacing often 3-6 mm+ between small candy pockets; more for deep pulls so walls do not tear.

Failure modes we design against

Customers do not buy pretty brochure molds. They buy fewer scrap trays and stable piece weight. These are the floor problems we hear weekly.

Sticky demold stretch

Pectin and some resins pull soft cavity walls. Outer cavities on a 20+ count tray can gain 5-8% weight variance. Fix: thicker walls, mid Shore, or split trays - not more release agent alone.

Tray oil-canning

Large soft trays twist on the temper table. Chocolate shine and fill height suffer. Fix: raise Shore into 35A-45A for production flats, or cut span.

Bubble / fisheye casts

Often vacuum degas on the mold compound, wrong release, or trapped geometry - not always "bad silicone." Prototype with your mix catches it before MOQ 20 ships.

Look sharp in CAD, tear in production. We add fillets where imprint life matters more than a render.

    Pectin, gelatin, tempered chocolate, epoxy, soy wax, cold-process soap - Shore A and food path follow this first.

    Grams or ml with a variance band. "Exact" with no tolerance forces scrap debates later.

    STEP/STL/IGES preferred; PDF + mm dimensions + photos work for first models. Physical master is fine.

Searching custom silicone mold manufacturer returns factories, traders, and finished-goods OEMs in the same SERP. Filter with process questions, not logo count.

  • Finished-goods MOQ dressed as mold MOQ - 300-1000 often means packed consumer silicone, not cavity tools. Ask what leaves the dock: molds or SKUs.

The cavity tool you cast with - not finished gummies, candles, or soap bars. RUUIPON builds molds; you (or your co-packer) pour the product.
Why is MOQ 20 instead of 300-1000?
Many Alibaba quotes at 300+ are finished consumer-goods OEMs. We sell mold tooling so brands can test SKUs. Unit price is higher than a 500-run; cash at risk on a new shape is usually lower.
Do you manufacture in Shenzhen or trade from a desk?
Workshop in Bao'an, Shenzhen since 2018 - DFM, prototype, and production tooling on the same path. Address is on the About and Contact pages.
When should I switch from silicone to steel?
When daily volume, cycle life, or metal-tight tolerances outgrow RTV economics. We say so in DFM instead of selling soft tools into a steel job.
Can you do FDA or LFGB food-grade?
Yes on request for chocolate, candy, baking, and ice programs. Say the market (US retail, EU, etc.) on the RFQ so compound and docs match.
What if I only have a sketch?
Send photos, dimensions in mm, and casting material. Modeling is part of most projects - incomplete CAD is normal for first-time buyers.
Is vacuum degassing standard on production molds?
Yes for platinum production tooling. Pinholes reprint forever on gloss chocolate and resin logos - we do not treat vacuum as an upsell checkbox.
How fast is a quote and a prototype?
Complete RFQs usually within 24 hours. Working prototype typically 3-7 business days after CAD approval.
Do you ship internationally?
